Volunteer Fair

On May 20, 2025, the Community Volunteer Fair took place at the Claremont Senior Center, bringing together local non-profit organizations and community members interested in volunteerism.

The event served as a valuable platform for networking among the participating non-profits, fostering collaboration and information exchange. Additionally, it provided a direct avenue for these organizations to present specific volunteer opportunities to attendees. Individuals eager to contribute their time and skills had the chance to learn about various causes and sign up for roles that aligned with their interests.

The success of the Guiding Good Volunteer Fair was made possible by the generous support of its sponsors. The Claremont Senior Center was thanked for hosting the event. Refreshments were provided by North Country Smokehouse and Walmart store #1975. Financial contributions from Latva Machine and Valley Regional Hospital were also crucial in bringing the fair to fruition.

For those who were unable to attend this yearโ€™s event, stay tuned for future volunteer fair announcements.

Leadership Workshop

While Guiding Good was created in 2024, the founders bring a long legacy of helping community groups, leaders and organizations.  We started our partnership to formalize and create learning modules based on real world needs and experiences.  Our first Leadership Workshop was held in 2024.  Attendees from a wide range of nonprofits in and around Claremont attended. Organizations ranging from transportation services to alternate education to workforce development, and public media all have similar concerns and also discovered ways to combine forces to amplify their individual missions.

These events have not only fostered a sense of community but have also empowered participants to take actionable steps towards positive change.  Here we will begin to document the impact of these gatherings in the stories of transformation and the lasting connections formed.
